The manager, who seemed more like a detective, went above and beyond to help me solve a credit card fraud case. Just like Sherlock Holmes, he unravelled the mystery and caught the villain, ensuring the safety of my finances. His commitment to customer care was truly remarkable.

Room decor could improve.

The rooms were clean and equipped with fans, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. The hot water in the showers was actually hot, which was a rare find in Sri Lanka. The hotel also provided mosquito nets, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. We enjoyed the small private balcony where we could relax and spend time together as a family.

For dads, it would be great if the hotel could provide some additional family-friendly amenities or activities.

This small hotel is comfortable, clean, and secure, and its restaurant staff were efficient and helpful with travel arrangements. The family-run atmosphere, excellent breakfast, close proximity to the beach, and availability of parking made this a great place to stay. Thanks to Mark and his team for their wonderful hospitality. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Sri Lanka.

The staff at Ocean View Tourist Guest House were warm and friendly, accommodating my early arrival. The room I stayed in had a comfortable bed, good wifi, and a nice balcony. The price for the room and airport drop was fair, and the air conditioning and mosquito net were excellent.

Felt completely relaxed, nothing to complain about.

First, we attended the mind-blowing Kandyan dance show and witnessed the tooth relic ceremony at the temple. It was so cool to see the traditional dances and feel the cultural spirit! Then, we went on an exhilarating elephant safari in Minneriya National Park. We saw herds of majestic elephants up close, and it was truly awe-inspiring! After that, we climbed the epic Sigiriya, the ancient city, which was mind-blowing! We even had a quick break before the safari. Our adventure was packed with action and excitement!

The only thing we wished for during our stay was more options for late-night partying. As teenagers who love to have fun, we were hoping for a vibrant nightlife scene near the guest house.

I always come back to this place because it has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, free parking, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, a restaurant. The staff even helped me find my lost necklace once. Perfect for a city trip.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, being close to the tourist area and right across from the beach. The staff were friendly and provided great service, from arranging airport pick-up to giving helpful information about the area.

There were some noise disturbances from workers outside the room and staff sweeping early in the morning, which affected the quality of sleep.

Check-in was quick and hassle-free. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options including fresh fruit, eggs made to order, toast, and hot beverages. The hotel is also close to the beach and offers parking for guests with cars. We would like to express our gratitude to Mark, the owner, and his staff for taking such good care of us. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We had a fantastic experience at Ocean View Tourist Guest House at Negombo Beach. We rented a car with a driver from Ocean View and it was a great decision. The car was clean and the driver was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were able to see a lot and save time and money. The rooms at the guest house were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and the beach was just across the road. Additionally, we took advantage of their reasonable prices for Ajurweda massages. Ocean View provided excellent service and we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
